Before changing the world, you must first change yourself. Attitude starts with the decision you make to believe in yourself. To maintain a good attitude you must practice cultivating a good attitude every day. Positive affirmations and having an attitude of gratitude is the easiest way to keep a positive attitude. Find the positive in every situation, you have the power to change the things you don’t like in your life. Do you want to have more positive energy in your life? Here is a simple habit you can practice every day that will help you.
In a journal – write down 9 things you are grateful for. Do it when you first rise in the morning.
In your journal – write down your affirmation that you want to say to yourself everyday.
Set an alarm 3 times during the day that you can repeat saying your affirmation to yourself every day.
In your Journal – read what you wrote earlier that day. Then write down the best thing that happened today is ______________. Then be grateful for what you have accomplished today and repeat the same thing tomorrow.
Once you start accomplishing your goals, write new affirmations. When ever you are having a bad day, read some of your past entries on the things you are grateful for.
There are things in your life that you shouldn’t allow to dictate who you are as a person. You don’t have to be the mistakes you made in your past. Instead learn from them, forgive yourself and move on. Other people’s opinions of you should not matter. The only limits you have are the ones you place on yourself. How much money you do or don’t have should not dictate who you are either. Live in the moment now. Everyday do what you can to be the best person you can be!
It is so easy to get caught up in stress and work and all of the things we think we need to do. It’s important to breathe and take in gratitude. Make the decision to Feel GOOD! The ask yourself these questions;
What is GOOD in my life?
How can I make my life better?
What is most important today?
No matter how busy you are, take time to breathe and enjoy life.
Your day should always begin with gratitude. I have noticed when I don’t have an attitude of gratitude, things don’t seem to go as well. Doing some of these things every day can help you to keep a positive attitude. They can also help you feel happy when you are depressed. Here are some ways you can practice gratitude every day.
Write words of gratitude and post notes on your mirror and say thank you everytime you look in the mirror.
Get a gratitude Journal – In the morning when you get up write down 5 things you are grateful for.
Write down your goals you would like to accomplish in a format that makes you feel good everytime you read it. Post it where you can see it. Read it every single day.
Post affirmations around you that you can see and say to yourself.
